2. What Personal Data We Collect
- Contact details — name, email, phone, company, role.
- Enquiry content — information you include in forms, messages or calls.
- Account & billing — service history, invoices, payment status. Card payments are handled by Stripe (we do not store full card details). For bank transfers, we may see payer name and payment reference.

- Marketing preferences — your choices for newsletters, updates, and tracking.
We do not intentionally collect special category data via the website.
3. How & Why We Use Your Data (Lawful Bases)
- Respond to enquiries & provide quotes — contract / steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Provide services & support — contract.
- Operate, secure & improve the site (analytics, diagnostics, fraud prevention) — legitimate interests.
- Process payments — contract (via Stripe or bank transfer) and legal obligation (accounting, VAT).
- Send updates/marketing — with your consent, or to existing customers under soft-opt-in/legitimate interests (you can unsubscribe anytime).
- Comply with law & handle claims — legal obligation and legitimate interests.
4. Where We Get Your Data
Directly from you (forms, email, phone), automatically via cookies/SDKs when you use the site, and occasionally from public sources (e.g., Companies House, LinkedIn) or referrals/affiliates when you are introduced to us.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies to run the site and, with your consent, analytics/marketing cookies to improve services and measure performance. You can change or withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie Settings”. For details, see our Cookie Policy.
6. Affiliates & Referral Partners
Sometimes we use affiliate links or partner referrals. If you click an affiliate link, the third party may place a cookie or use an identifier to track the referral and pay us a commission. We mark such links where practical and list relevant cookies/vendors in our Cookie Policy. We do not sell your personal data.
7. Sharing Your Data (Processors & Third Parties)
We share personal data with trusted service providers who help us operate our website and business, such as hosting/CDN and security providers, email/CRM tools, Stripe for payments, analytics and performance monitoring, and professional advisers (accountants, legal). These providers act under contract and may only process data as instructed by us. We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.
8. International Transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Security
We apply proportionate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, least-privilege administration, backups and regular updates. No method is 100% secure, but we aim to keep your data safe.
10. How Long We Keep Data
- Enquiries & quotes: up to 24 months after last interaction.
- Client/accounting records: typically 7 years (legal obligation).
- Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe or object.
- Security & access logs: typically 12 months.
- Analytics data: per vendor configuration in our Cookie Policy.
After that, we delete or anonymise the data unless we need to keep it for legal reasons.
11. Your Rights
Subject to law, you have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and data portability; to object to certain processing (including direct marketing); and to withdraw consent where used. To exercise rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity.
12. Children
Our website and services are aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
13. Acting as a Processor for Clients
When we provide services to clients (e.g., website hosting, analytics implementation, email campaigns) and process personal data on their instructions, we act as a processor. In those cases, our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) applies, and the client’s own privacy notice governs their data.
14. Changes to This Notice
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, services or technology. The latest version will always appear here, with the effective date at the top.
